CPA Canada is the national organization established to support unification of the Canadian accounting profession under the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation. Personal PD Passports for individual CPAs are $975 + HST and are not transferrable. Once a CPA purchases a passport, it is captured as credit on their account in the Registration Portal. With the credit, a CPA can register for half, full and two-day seminars at the reduced pricing listed below.

The PD department at CPABC offers a number of free web-based seminars on its website. The topics include a recent update on accounting standards. You can even qualify for verifiable CPD hours if you successfully complete the quiz. The CPA Competency Map lays the foundation for the CPA certification program, including education, accreditation, examinations, and practical experience requirements, and describes the knowledge, skills and proficiency levels you must achieve to become a Canadian CPA.
